LINDA MUELLER Photography is the initial element of all portraits painted by Linda Mueller. But, not always the most important. While the photo may set the tone for a particular painting, it is how it is moulded, embellished and mixed with various media that makes it different from all others. Working primarily on canvas with a bold use of oil and a subtle mix of found materials, Linda takes a free-form approach, letting the painting evolve and dictate its own direction and emotion. Each new painting features a personality unique to itself. Like the subject it represents.
