LINDA LARSEN The natural landscape is my first source of inspiration. Whether working from direct observation outdoors or producing a purely abstract piece in my studio, nature's shapes and moods inevitably rise to the surface. My work is to allow the relationship between myself and the unfolding drama on the canvas or paper to play out as genuinely as possible. If I trust my artistic process and persist in the work at hand — creating a painting becomes an increasing challenge and an exciting source of discovery. |
